Can Guamanian citizens get visas on arrival in Uganda?
Uganda no longer offers visas upon arrival for internationals. Moreover, this traditional route can be inconvenient due to potentially long queues at the airport, especially after a lengthy international flight. Hence, many travelers choose the more convenient e-visa option when planning their trip to Uganda.
Uganda Immigration Services provides electronic visas (e-visas) for applicants intending to visit Uganda for tourism purposes. It's highly recommended that you obtain an e-visa before arrival in Uganda.
- Tourist e-Visa: The tourist visa grants 90 days with a single entry in Uganda.
- East Africa e-Visa: This visa grants 90 days with multiple entries in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. This visa cannot be extended.
- Transit visa: Travelers who transit temporarily through Uganda before moving to the next destination can get this visa. A transit visa allows 7 days to stay in the country with a single entry.
