Can Costa Rican citizens get a Uganda visa on arrival?
Costa Rican citizens may wonder whether they can acquire a Uganda visa on arrival. Unfortunately, this option is not available to Costa Rican citizens. Nevertheless, the Ugandan government has introduced a more convenient and efficient alternative known as the Uganda electronic visa (e-Visa).
The Uganda Tourist e-Visa eliminates the need to visit embassies or consulates and enhances the overall application experience. At present, Uganda Immigration Services offers three common tourist e-visas to Uganda for travelers:
- Tourist e-Visa: provided for tourism trips to Uganda, this visa allows for a single entry and a stay of up to 90 days in the country.
- East Africa e-Visa: This visa permits multiple entries into Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for a duration of 90 days. Extensions are not possible with this visa.
- Transit e-Visa: For travelers in transit through Uganda during their journey, this visa allows for a 7-day stay and single entry. The transit visa cannot be extended.
