Do I need a visa for visiting Uganda?

• Apply at the Embassy: Maldives citizens can also submit a visa application at the Uganda Embassy in Maldives.
• Uganda visa on arrival: Visas on arrival in Uganda are no longer provided and have been replaced by the E-Visa system. 

Applying for a Uganda visa online is usually the most convenient option for short trips for Maldivian travelers. The Uganda Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced electronic visas to promote tourism and expedite the visa application.

The electronic visa policy streamlines the process for Maldivian citizens, with visas often issued within three business days of submitting the necessary paperwork and application forms.
