At present, the Ugandan authorities do not provide visa-free for the citizens of Italy, therefore, Italian travelers must apply for an e-visa before departing for Uganda. Uganda Immigration Services offers a convenient and efficient online platform for visa application, allowing travelers to complete the entire process from the comfort of their homes or offices. • Tourist e-Visa: This regular tourist visa allows a single entry and a maximum stay of 90 days in Uganda.

• A credit or debit card for the online payment.
• Proof of Yellow Fever Vaccination: To enter Uganda, applicants must show this document at the Immigration checkpoint. This is REQUIRED.

• Step 1: To get started, Apply for a Uganda E-Visa, then select the visa for your trip (Tourist e-visa, East Africa e-visa, Transit e-visa).
• Step 2: Complete the online e-visa application form, providing your basic information, such as passport details, nationality, date of birth, and contact information. Make sure to double-check all information before submitting the form.
• Step 3: Proceed to make the e-visa fee payment using the designated payment methods available on the e-visa portal. Ensure you have a valid payment method and follow the provided instructions during the payment process.

Once submitted, the processing time generally ranges from 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email notification once your visa application is approved. • Urgent processing: For urgent service, applicants will receive their Uganda e-visa within a maximum of 48 business hours, a service fee of $79 is included. 
• Super-Urgent processing: Applicants who choose this service can expect to receive their results in around 24 business hours, a service fee of $99 is included.
