Can Botswana citizens obtain a Uganda e-visa on arrival?
Botswana citizens are not eligible for a visa-on-arrival in Uganda. However, visitors can apply for an Uganda e-visa online, a more convenient and efficient approach. The Uganda Tourist e-Visa eliminates the need to visit embassies or consulates and enhances the overall application experience. Uganda Immigration Services provides 3 types of tourist e-visas for travelers:
- Tourist e-Visa: For tourism trips in Uganda, this visa permits a single entry and a duration of 90 days to stay in the country.
- East Africa e-Visa: This visa grants multiple entries in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for 90 days. This visa cannot be extended.
- Transit e-Visa: For transition in Uganda during your trip, this visa allows visitors to remain in the country for 7 days, and a single entry. The transit visa cannot be extended.
